Want to know about us?

Hi. I’m Ang.

Last year, my hubby and I were extremely lucky to find our dream house on the west coast of Arran that we knew would suit us and our gorgeous gang.

Our whole lives revolve around our dogs.

We’ve competed in agility, shown on the green carpet several times at Crufts, bred three litters, worked sheep, done mantrailing and more importantly that anything, had LOTS of special walks and cuddles.

The photo opposite shows me with six, but sadly we are only owned by four now who are called Izzy who is 13, Keeva, 11, Angel, 10 and Posh, 9..

For the last 8 years we have been the proud owners of a raw feeding shop in the north west of England and built it up from having two freezers in our garage at home to running a very successful large industrial unit full of freezers. We stocked a range of raw food brands, all from DEFRA registered suppliers, a massive range of natural treats and dog accessories. Our business was born from one of our beautiful dogs, Jess, (pictured second from the right) who was diagnosed at 3 years old with lymphoma and was given only 10 - 12 weeks to live. At this point, we fed highly processed kibble, gave annual vaccinations and regular flea and worm treatments. I set about an awful lot of research, swapped to a species appropriate raw diet and gave her some special herbs from a herbalist. She lived an extra 8.5 very happy years and taught us so much in that time. We owe so much of our knowledge to our Jessie - J.

We are now very excited to be bringing the Doggy Treat Truck to Arran, which is a mobile dog shop in which we have lots of natural treats, toys, dog bowls, leads, natural tick repellent, natural supplements and dog accessories.

We also offer a raw delivery service in collaboration with the fabulous Petcayr in Ayr.

We will attend events throughout the year and will drive round the island with set stops (to be confirmed once we are up and running).

All details will also be on facebook and instagram for now. (See home page for links to them).

You’ve probably gathered that we are very passionate about keeping things as natural as possible and keeping chemicals away from our dogs. We are more than happy to share what we do with our own gang, so if you have any questions please do just get in touch.
